Samantha Roblin is a Nevada based photographer, as well as painter and multimedia artist. Although her work ranges from New-Topographic to conceptual feminist narratives, she enjoys photographing simple and domestic settings with an emphasis on architectural themes, landscape, and light. Roblin often uses the lens of the History of Photography to inform her work to act as a hand for re-contextualization of the impacts and point-of-views from photographic movements of the past.

Roblin is from the Reno-Tahoe area, and graduated from the University of Nevada Reno with a Bachelor’s degree in both Photography and Psychology. Roblin has been photographing and painting since they could hold the materials. They plan to continue to tend to her world as an artist for the rest of her life.
